We’re Glad You’re Here

We know that visiting a new church for the first time can be a bit overwhelming. We want to make sure you feel totally equipped to engage with worship this week. Here are some of what we’ve identified as the Need-To-Know information for checking out The City. If you still have questions, contact us. We’d love to get you everything you need.

Weekly Worship

The City Service gathers in-person and online on Sunday mornings at 9:30 A.M.

We meet in the gym of Missouri United Methodist Church for a contemporary take on worship. In The City you'll find we ask a lot of questions, give you freedom to be yourself, and offer a place to get comfortable.

What Does Worship Look Like in The City Movement?

Worship with the City is a mix of old and new, modern, contemporary and traditional. We like to have fun playing and mixing things together. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper together every Sunday as a central part of our service where children help in passing out the communion elements alongside the older kids (adults). Pastor S. Jewell usually preaches, but sometimes we have guest speakers. We like to say at the City that everyone is part of making worship happen, that we’re all on the team, that all of our voices matter. That’s definitely true when it comes to singing! The more the merrier! Join us at the City, join the band, join a small group, and get involved.
